For today’s frequently asked question, we have many asking us if the pockets and tags on our Twirl Dresses are sewn on backwards. We understand that it may look confusing at first, so we’re here to clear the air and offer a (pocket) change of perspective.
The pockets are meant to be at the front of the dress, while the tag is at the back of the dress. They’re designed this way so that little kids can pull the dress over their heads on their own easily without stretching the neckline.
Once on, the dresses have a ballet scoop neckline in the back instead of the front. While other dresses have a deeper neckline in the front (and likely causes the most confusion about our dresses), we’ve elected to have the ballet scoop neckline in the back for a more modest fit. The clothing tag will be in the scoop, so that's the best way to determine which is the front and back of your dress.
